Subject: Re: Rebuilding of 20 Pykett Avenue
I wish to add that the Residence Association of Pykett have met and discuss the rebuild matter with an expert, who is willing to consult on this rebuild. The expert confirmed to us that there is no problems in rebuilding the demolished building to its original form. When MPPP is available, we shall be more then willing to arrange an appointment.RegardsYan Lee0124846682On Thu, Dec 15, 2011 at 11:36 AM, Penang Heritage Trust (PHT) <info@pht.org.my> wrote:

Yang Dipertua,
REBUILDING OF 20 PYKETT AVENUE
The Penang Heritage Trust applauds the decision of MPPP's move to issue an order to Klassik Tropika to rebuild the double-storey bungalow on 11 January 2011. The building was owned by the descendant of the 19th century Penang's tycoon Khaw Sim Bee who also became the Governor of Phuket.
Given the unique architecture and history of this building, we appreciate MPPP's decision and we would like to provide our assistance by contributing 2 photographs of the building taken in 1994. It has taken PHT tremendous time and effort to research and obtain this important piece of information, which we are glad to contribute.
Yours sincerely,
Clement Liang
